Reservoir Primary School’s P.E. and Sport Program aims to develop each students physical abilities – for each child to do their ‘Personal Best’. To learn new skills, to have fun, to make friends and develop good inter-personal skills and ‘ sportsmanship’. To be challenged, to exercise daily and to be the best person they can!
The Physical Education program in Term 3 will again centre on the development of fundamental motor skills as well as teamwork and fair play across all year levels. Students will be challenged to work together in sports and small-sided games, and also initiative activities.
The Reservoir Cup indoor soccer and basketball competitions are being held this term for students in years three to six, so skills used in these sports will be in focus for students in the upper year levels.
Some of our Year 3/4 students will also get the opportunity to compete in the Milo T20 Blast School Cup competition. It’s going to be a busy term with lots of sport happening in Term 3.
